Honestly, I think MTA:RP had an amazing run.
We went from being a joke just to annoy Valhalla, to actually growing into a popular server, to being number 1 for several months, and then the slow steady decline. The past 2-3 years we kept the server online JUST to piss off competition. (Longest standing server on MTA To date)
But MTA as a whole is dying, and with GTA 6 now around the corner it seems almost pointless to keep MTA:RP online.

The server will remain online through April 1st. And at that point we will close. Backups stop today, so nothing done after today will be saved (just incase we get enough interest to come back someday? Who knows)
The forums will remain up for now, TBD on if we keep the domain... The forums COULD be a nice place to chat and catch up, but based on the past years activity, not sure thats worth it either.

It's been fun, MTA:RP helped me though some tough times emotionally and financially.
I think to keep her dignity, we need to respectfully pull the plug.

Maybe not goodbye forever, but see you later for now

Shame, so many memories everyone's just grown up and the new generation don't know about MTA in general. Will be sad to see it go but I suppose its been gone years already, just holding onto the nostalgia for a lifetime. May aswell pull the forums too and let it go. Just keep the discord for anyone interested in talking.
