Start with finding a spot where you want your gate in the map editor.
After you have decided you will want to fit your gate into the location you want the gate will be. You should start with the location where you want your gate to be when its closed.
After you have placed the gate on the location you want it to be when its closed just save the file. You should save it with a name that would be easy to be found later, because you have to find the folder from your game files. For this example lets use "HouseGateCLOSED"
Moving on, now you want to map the location where the gate will be when its open.
After doing this you want to save that file also. Name it "HouseGateOPEN"
-Now you can close your Map Editor. Open your folder and go to
You should see various different folders there, but you have to find the ones what you mapped. Open the "HouseGateCLOSED" and look for the .map file. When you have found the .map file click on it and open it with notepad. It should show you something similar to this:
<object id="object (pol_comp_gate) (1)" breakable="true" interior="0" alpha="255" model="2933" doublesided="false" scale="1" dimension="0" posX="1680" posY="-2156.5" posZ="10.9" rotX="0" rotY="0" rotZ="180"></object>
</map>
Just copy that somewhere, I reccomend pastebin. After you have copied it do the same with open one, when you are done the file should look like this -
GATE CLOSED:
<object id="object (ws_apgate) (1)" breakable="true" interior="0" alpha="255" model="988" doublesided="false" scale="1" dimension="0" posX="122.8" posY="-172.5" posZ="-2.3" rotX="0" rotY="0" rotZ="90"></object>
</map>
GATE OPEN:
<object id="object (ws_apgate) (1)" breakable="true" interior="0" alpha="255" model="988" doublesided="false" scale="1" dimension="0" posX="122.8" posY="-172.5" posZ="-6.8" rotX="0" rotY="0" rotZ="90"></object>
</map>
Thats all now you just have to send that pastebin file to a lead+ and they will add a gate for you In-Game!
