    end of an era

I think it's safe to say this server is dead. What went wrong? Could anything have been changed? Is MTA in general just a dead platform?

    Re: end of an era

MTA's playerbase in general has been in the decline for years, the only real thriving servers right now are non-english ones, which makes sense.

We've got GTA V rage now, that's shifted most people over to it because it's bearable, even though it's not as fine tuned. The chances of this english speaking -roleplay- server coming back in full force are extremely slim, due to the age of the game. Most people have forgotten GTA:SA even had a multiplayer platform. There would have to be significant advertisement and attempts to pull attention towards MTA, which probably won't happen. I've had an optimistic view on a lot recently but this would be extremely hard, not impossible, a thousand things would have to go right in order for it to happen. I doubt anybody has the time nor the passion to actually follow through with a project like that. It would take a lot to attempt bringing something as old as this back. I just don't see anybody following through with it.
