In real life, all materialistic things we have, come from about three types of industries.
Prepare to go back to 9th Grade geography class.
Primary Industries - These extracts all raw materials and sells them off to:
Secondary Industries - These guys take all the raw materials and turns them into iPads or condoms and hands them over to:
Tertiary Industries - These dudes sell you your booze and fancy electronics.
now what I am proposing is that we remove the supply boxes from the shops and make people work to help boost economic roleplay. Farmers, miners, lumberjacks and truck drivers will be needed.
Farmers - They will grow food and cater to animals for slaughtering. After all food is ready, it will be boxed and given to truck drivers
Miners - They will extract metal and jewels to be given to furniture sellers, hardware shops and jewellers after being boxed and ready to be delivered.
Lumberjacks - Obviously they will cut down trees and the logs will be handed over to delivery drivers.
The city hall driver job can just be reworked to pick up and deliver materials to out of stock shops that request materials.
The primary industry workers will package their materials and drop them off at a whare house which will be a collision marker where they can /dropmaterials type (food/crop, minerals, wood.) and then when a truck driver approaches the marker in their truck it tells them what materials are available to deliver and it will be added to their inventory of their truck or something. Drivers will drop of materials at marker of a shop where owners can purchase their materials or have it delivered directly to them if they call a certain hotline.
So there is 2 ways this can work:
1) Make is to this whole process of industries are used to stock up the supplies shop (Lazy way)
2) People (drivers) must directly bring the materials to businesses that request it over a hotline.
