mechanic job question

so i've had a lot of requests from people for me to repaint their rims on their vehicle, but I have no idea how to do it. Everything I've tried in the GUI menu hasn't done anything. Looking for some help figuring this out. Could be making more money than I am currently

You change the color of paint 2. For some modded cars this won't work as the wheels colors aren't changable. If its not working, put a wheel on the car from the game and then change paint 2's color.
