Connecting problem

Hi, Whenever I connect to MTARP and log in, it crashes during character selection and restarts my pc automaticly, any solutions?

I had the same when my windows updated. Have you tried running it in a older windows version from the settings?

I'm using windows 7, never updated it or downgraded

Nono, try changing it from compability settings. Its when you right click on icon and choose properties, its under there.

Try all. I suggest Windows XP first, any pack.

If it only happens at MTARP you should consider reinstalling MTA

I have had similar to problems with his before.


Follow this list to make sure everything is up to date.
1) Make sure all programs/software required to run GTA is updated, and installed properly.
2) Make sure all programs/software required to run MTA is updated, and installed properly.
3) Experiment with compatibility settings for GTA & MTA (Google what works best for your issue)
4) If you installed any mods, try restoring your game to before the mods were installed, or reinstall your game.
5) You may have missing files for MTA/GTA, Try reinstalling MTA first, and if the problem persists then reinstall GTA.
6) Run MTA & GTA in administrator mode.
7) Try googling your problem.
8) (Optional, but recommended) Start up a single player game atleast once if you reinstalled GTA to ensure your game itself works.

Still none worked, It lags exactly when I login, I think it has something to do with the water mod

Try this:

Goto your MTA SA Folder \mods\deathmatch\priv\0D6EFE\account-system

open settings.xml.

That disables the water shader for you.

If that doesnt work, you may have to reset you computer or you may have some type of corrupted hardware/software

I don't have that in my Deathmatch folder, I got client.dll and pcre3.dll, found it on the old mta 1.4 Version tho

Lmao, I fixed it, all I had to do is to update the Direct X, thanks for all your efforts guys
